Sunday, Dec 1, 10am, LH, Lions Head, Salisbury

Hike from from Route 41, Salisbury. A 2.7 mile climb to top of Lions Head and return for a total of 5.4 miles. Meet at Marandino's Market parking area on Rt. 44 in New Hartford opposite Satan's Kingdom. Approx. 45 minute drive to the start.  We have a small group committed to going and would enjoy having others. Call L: Jerry Marcum 860 810 0087

Sunday, December 6, 1:30pm. SG, Holiday Hike and Social

Hike starts at 1:30 PM, Social and songs at 3:00 PM.  Choice of short or long hike. All hikes are open to the public. Hike will leave from the bulletin board at the Sleeping Giant Park entrance on the north side of Mt. Carmel Avenue in northern Hamden, about 0.5 mile east of Whitney Avenue. Hikers should wear comfortable, supportive shoes and bring snacks and water, as desired. No pets, please.

Meet in the commuter parking lot at the intersection of RT 4 and Town Farm Rd. in Farmington to carpool to this beautiful 6+ mile hike. Anticipate a mid to late afternoon return time.  L: Marie Coons

Meet in Borders bookstore parking lot (Rt. 167/44 - Simsbury) to carpool to Canton for a short hike. We should be back by 11:30 am.   L: Marie Coons

Metacomet blue trail to the tower and return via alternate trail.  Meet Pennwood State Park parking lot off Rt. 185. Bring snack & water. CL: Tom Iezzi & Jerry Marcum

Friday, January 1, 2010, 1:30pm. SG, New Year’s Day Hike

Start the new year "on the right foot." All hikes are open to the public. Hike will leave from the bulletin board at the Sleeping Giant Park entrance on the north side of Mt.
