A 2.7 mile climb to top of Lions Head and return for a total of 5.4 miles. Meet at Marandino's Market parking area on Rt. 44 in New Hartford opposite Satan's Kingdom. SG, Holiday Hike and SocialHike starts at 1:30 PM, Social and songs at 3:00 PM. Choice of short or long hike. All hikes are open to the public. Hike will leave from the bulletin board at the Sleeping Giant Park entrance on the north side of Mt. Carmel Avenue in northern Hamden, about 0.5 mile east of Whitney Avenue.
