Sunday, February 14, 1:30pm. SG, Winter Tree Identification Hike

All hikes are open to the public. Hike will leave from the bulletin board at the Sleeping Giant Park entrance on the north side of Mt. Carmel Avenue in northern Hamden, about 0.5 mile east of Whitney Avenue. Hikers should wear comfortable, supportive shoes and bring snacks and water, as desired. No pets, please.

Tuesday, Feb. 16, 8:45 am, Great Mountain Forest, Norfolk

Meet in the Ocean State Job Lot parking lot in Canton to carpool to this hike. We will explore some of the trails in this beautiful forest. Hopefully we will have enough snow to snowshoe, but if not, please wear appropriate footwear for the conditions (stabilicers if not enough snow for snowshoes). Anticipate a 1:30 pm return time.  L: Marie Coons
