HOME | NOVEMBER 2012 SCHEDULE Thursday, November 1, 2012, 8:45 AM, FCE, Whitestone Cliffs Trail, Plymouth Blue blazed Whitestone Cliffs Trail forms a short loop in Mattatuck State Forest. This hike was written up in the Hartford Courant. P. 330 CWB. A short loop that includes streams, wetlands and rocky knolls with seasonal vistas. Plenty of climbing and scrambling over the rocky outcrop that appears brilliant white in the distance, hence the name Whitestone. Meet: Library Lane CPL off Route 4 in Burlington and we will carpool to the trailhead. NOTE: This will be our end of season hike. Lunch at Cassille's in Burlington. CL: Tom Iezzi & Jerry Marcum
